Persian Bidjar Wool Hand Knotted Room Size Rug. Fine example of a traditional Bidjar, Persian (Iranian). Standard tones of red, blues, blacks, ivories to delicately weave an intricate pattern exhibiting varying degrees of tone and depth. Yearly cared for by Arslenian. No issues noted. Fringe is exceptional, wear is minimal and body is consistent with no evidence of spills, moth damage, sun damage. Due to age, tones from hand dyed natural fibers and coloring may not be as vivid as when produced.
